Community Events

In Canada, the annual Terry Fox Run is held every September, usually on the second Sunday following Labour Day. The Run is a non-competitive event where people get together as individuals, families and groups to raise money for cancer research. It is a day of celebrating Terry's fundraising mission and his dream that one day a cure for cancer will be found.

The 2010 Terry Fox Run will be held on Sunday, September 19th. Click here for more information.

 

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure is Canada's largest single day, volunteer-led fundraising event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, and education and awareness programs.
